Although it says "Tribute", he actually only sent it to GY, so it's one of the few cards that could be used for 《Mind Control》before Synchro was introduced.
Compared to Destruct Potion, which is the same trap, it has less combo potential, and the advantage over that is that it sends monsters to his GY at a cost, so it is less likely to be disturbed by removal, but then Mystik Wok》is enough.

Comprehensive evaluation: 《Mystik Wok》《Destruct Potion》There are times when recovery is possible, but there are few opportunities.
The former can be selected from the defense power, and can be recovered by referring to the strengthened value.
The latter can be comboed with cards that trigger destruction.
Since this refers to the original status after sending to GY, there is an advantage that the amount of recovery will be greater if a monster that weakens on the field such as "Night Express Knight" is sent to his GY.
However, there are few merits other than the recovery amount.

Put it in the Quick-Play Spell Wok.

It's hard to say that the advantage is worth the cost, and it can be said that it is backward compatible with the wok that allows you to choose the defense power with Quick-Play Spell.
Also, there is a destroy potion in similar cards, and since it is destroyed and processed, tokens and P monsters can also be targeted, and if it is easy to use together with cards that are destroyed and activated, the combo is inferior.
As the name of Tribute suggests, if it was released and processed, there was nothing that could be differentiated. Even so, I think it was difficult to prioritize.

"Destruct Potion" 《Mystik Wok》will be your rival. The difference from "Destruction Potion" is that you can send destruction resistance to her GY, but since "Destruction Potion" is used as a combo part in the first place, it won't be much of an advantage. As for 《Mystik Wok》, it has a quick effect and you can choose either offense or defense to recover, so there are almost no places where this card is winning.
